Tyson Mexico is seeking a Development Engineer II to join a collaborative software team. You will design, implement, and review code, mentor junior developers, and help improve development processes.

You will work with product managers and engineers to deliver high-quality software, participate in code reviews, and maintain documentation. A Bachelor's degree and 1+ year of experience are preferred.

Formación

• Education: Bachelor's Degree preferably in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Systems, Quantitative or Engineering Field or relevant experience.
• Experience: 1+ years relevant or practical experience.

Responsabilidades

• Delivers medium-high complexity development or automation tasks as part of a team.
• Works under moderate supervision with access to assistance for work assignments not covered through established guidelines.
• Designing, coding, and debugging applications in various software languages or tools.
• Developing software solutions by studying information needs, conferring with users, and studying systems flow, data usage, and work processes.
• Performing unit testing and integration testing.
• Maintaining and improving existing codebases and peer review code changes.
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams, including product managers, designers, and other engineers, to define, design, and ship new features.
• Writing and maintaining technical documentation to describe program development, logic, coding, testing, changes, and corrections.
• Keeping up to date with the latest industry trends and technologies to ensure the company remains competitive.
