John Deere GmbH & Co. KG seeks a Hydraulics Design & Routing Engineer to design and model hydraulic systems across product lines.

You will manage projects, partner with suppliers and manufacturing, and ensure designs meet constraints, quality goals and production timelines. Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s degree in a related field, strong English skills, and hands-on experience with Creo, SAP, and hydraulic schematics.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics, Aeronautical, Automotive, Industrial Design or Mechanical Engineering or equivalent experience.
• Strong English skills; cross-functional teamwork.
• Product design engineering experience from internships or work.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD and hydraulic system fundamentals.

Main Responsibility:

• As a Hydraulics Design & Routing Engineer, you will be working at the Enterprise Technology & Engineering Center and will be responsible for designing and modeling hydraulic/hydrostatic systems, components and routings while considering given design constraints, quality initiatives, cost targets and specification requirements for different product lines. You will be responsible for project tracking, part ordering, issues resolution, support experimental prototype builds and. In addition, you will:
  • Work closely with suppliers, manufacturing and cross functional teams to integrate new/existing components into new product programs.
  • Contribute to a design from early concept, through a successful product production launch.
  • Create specifications for hydraulic components (valves, motors, pumps, cylinders, etc.).
  • Develop and promote part geometry and drawings.
  • Support experimental builds and production ramp up activities.

What Skills You Need:

• Strong English skills (speaking and writing).
• Product Design Engineering experience gained from relevant internships or work experience.
• Proficiency in 3D CAD software.
• Understanding of fundamental hydraulic engineering principles, able to read basic hydraulic schematics.
• Experience analyzing data and making sound decisions.
• Experience trouble shooting and solving issues with technical problem-solving skills.
• Project management experience leading projects that consist of several team members.
• Strong communication skills, with the ability to excel on a cross-functional team.
• Ability to handle adverse situations with a positive attitude in order to find successful solutions.
• Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in high pace environment.
• Creativity and Innovation.

What Makes You Stand Out:

• Experience in creating Hydraulic Schematics or Electrical Schematics.
• Experience with Creo (Pro-E), PDM Link and SAP.
• Familiar with Creo Piping.
• Familiar with IPS Cable Simulation software.
• Familiar with Automation Studio software.
• Knowledge of fluid power calculations.
• Experience in sheet metal design.
• GD&T knowledge.

Education:

• Bachelor’s degree in Mechatronics Engineering, Aeronautical Engineering, Automotive Engineering, Industrial Design, Mechanical Engineering discipline or equivalent experience.
