Formación

• Advanced experience with GCP services is a must.
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot framework.
• Experience with unit testing frameworks like JUnit, Mockito.
• Experience with CI/CD (GitHub Actions) and Terraform IaC.
• Familiarity with Oracle/WebLogic and cloud security basics.

Overview

As an active member of TELUS Digital, you will be at the heart of a major TELUS transformation program, supporting it as a Senior Java Developer.

Key responsibilities

• Advanced experience with GCP services is a must: Cloud SQL - PostgreSQL, GKE (Google Kubernetes Engine), Cloud Functions/Cloud Run, Pub/Sub, Cloud Storage, Cloud Logging and Cloud Monitoring, cloud security best practices; Understanding of OAuth 2.0 and JWT tokens
• Advanced experience with unit testing frameworks (JUnit, Mockito)
• Strong SQL skills and database management experience
• Strong knowledge of Java and Spring Boot framework
• Strong knowledge of REST API concepts and implementation
• Good understanding of version control systems (Git/GitHub)
• Good understanding of CI/CD concepts and GitHub Actions
• Strong problem-solving skills and collaborative mindset
• Good knowledge of Oracle databases and WebLogic application server
• Understanding of Infrastructure as Code tools (Terraform)
• Knowledge of SRE practices including GCP monitoring, alerting, and Stackdriver
