Placements24 seeks an Embedded Software Developer to join a globally distributed team, with remote work from Mexicali, Baja California or other approved locations. You will craft embedded software for automotive ECUs including infotainment and ADAS, aligning with AUTOSAR and MISRA C guidelines.

Responsibilities include designing, testing, and debugging in C/C++, developing drivers/middleware, and collaborating with hardware teams to define software requirements.

Qualifications

• 3+ years of embedded software development experience with C/C++.
• Experience with AUTOSAR or similar standards is highly desirable.
• Familiarity with RTOS and embedded systems concepts.
• Fluent Spanish and English communication skills.

Responsabilités

• Design, develop, test, and debug embedded software for automotive ECUs using C/C++.
• Implement software according to AUTOSAR standards and MISRA C guidelines.
• Develop drivers and middleware for various hardware platforms.
• Collaborate with hardware engineers and system architects to define software requirements.
• Participate in code reviews and ensure coding best practices.
• Develop and execute unit tests and integration tests for embedded software modules.
• Work with RTOS and understand memory management and concurrency.
• Troubleshoot and resolve defects reported during testing or by customers.
• Contribute to continuous improvement of the software development process.
• Document software designs, code, and test procedures.
