Support Services Group is hiring a Database Developer to design and develop efficient database solutions for diverse applications. You will work with MariaDB, MySQL, and SQL Server to ensure smooth integration and robust database-driven systems.

Responsibilities include designing scalable architectures, optimizing queries, backups, and migrations, and collaborating with development teams to secure and optimize data pipelines across environments.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in computer science, software engineering, or a related field.
• 5+ years of experience with relational and NoSQL databases (MariaDB, MySQL, Cassandra, SQL Server).
• Proficiency in SQL, database design, and optimization.
• Knowledge of database migration techniques and tools.
• Experience with data modeling and normalization.
• Strong understanding of indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance.

About the Role:

Required Qualifications:

• Proficiency in SQL, database design, and optimization
• Knowledge of database migration techniques and tools.
• Experience with data modeling and normalization.
• Strong understanding of indexing, partitioning, and query optimization.
• Proficiency in writing complex SQL queries, stored procedures, and optimizing database performance.
• Strong knowledge of Linux and Windows environments.

Good To have:

• Experience with database performance monitoring and profiling tools.
• Familiarity with version control systems like Azure Devops.
