Job summary

Citi is seeking a Data Quality Intermediate Analyst to deliver expertise across the enterprise in coordination with the Data Quality team. You will work with business leads and technologists to improve data processes, interpret complex data, and ensure compliance through sound judgment and stakeholder collaboration.

The role requires 2–5 years of related experience, strong analytical skills, and proficiency with SQL, Tableau, and data governance tools.

Qualifications

• 2-5 years of experience defining and implementing data quality programs, preferably in banking or finance.
• Proficient with Microsoft Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
• Strong analytical skills and attention to detail.
• Working knowledge of Collibra and other data governance tools.
• Intermediate SQL proficiency.
• Experience with Tableau for report consumption and development.
• Understanding of database structures.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Partner with business teams to design process improvements and streamline workflows.
• Interpret data and results with professional judgment and attention to detail.
• Provide informal guidance or training to junior team members when needed.
• Communicate complex information tactfully to stakeholders and project teams.
• Coordinate with a multidisciplinary group of business leads, operations, and technologists.
• Report data quality issues through the Data Concern Remediation process.
• Define detailed business data requirements and document them.
• Assess risks in business decisions and ensure compliance with rules and regulations.
