Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced EDO Platform Engineering Lead to drive design, automation, governance, and reliability of our enterprise data platform. This role will lead cloud-native platform engineering initiatives and support critical data workloads across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Databricks, AWS, dbt, Terraform, Python, and DevOps, with a passion for scalable, secure data platforms that empower analytics and investment management

Formación

• Experience designing and operating enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Strong understanding of cloud-native data architectures e.g., Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog.
• Proven ability to implement secure, scalable data pipelines with cost optimization.

Responsabilidades

• Lead the architecture, implementation, and management of enterprise-scale data platforms.
• Design and optimize Databricks Lakehouse solutions using Delta Lake and best practices.
• Drive cloud platform engineering and automation across AWS environments.
• Build and maintain reusable Terraform modules and IaC frameworks.
• Establish and enhance CI/CD pipelines, deployment automation, and GitOps practices.
• Ensure platform scalability, availability, security, performance, and cost optimization.
• Implement monitoring, observability, incident management, and SRE best practices.
• Define platform SLAs, SLOs, operational metrics, and reliability standards.
• Support API integrations and enable self-service for engineering teams.
• Partner with business, architecture, and engineering teams to deliver secure data solutions.

About the Role

We are seeking an experienced EDO Platform Engineering Lead to drive the design, automation, governance, and reliability of our enterprise data platform. This role will lead cloud-native platform engineering initiatives and support critical data, analytics, and investment management workloads across the organization.

The ideal candidate brings deep expertise in Databricks, AWS, dbt, Terraform, Python, and DevOps, along with a passion for building scalable, secure, and high-performing data platforms.

Required Skills

• Databricks (Lakehouse, Delta Lake, Unity Catalog, DLT, MLflow, Workflows)
• dbt, Python, SQL
• Terraform and Infrastructure as Code (IaC)
• CI/CD and DevOps practices
• GitHub Actions, GitLab CI/CD, Jenkins, or Azure DevOps
• Platform Engineering, Site Reliability Engineering (SRE), and Observability
• Strong understanding of Data Governance, Security, and Platform Operations

What You'll Do

• Lead the architecture, implementation, and management of enterprise-scale data platforms.

Preferred Qualifications

• 12+ years of experience in Platform Engineering, Data Engineering, or Cloud Engineering.
• Experience within Asset Management, Investment Management, or Wealth Management environments.
• Strong leadership, stakeholder management, and strategic planning skills.
• Experience leading large-scale cloud modernization and enterprise data initiatives.
