Tata Consultancy Services is seeking an experienced L3 Support Engineer to ensure reliability, performance, and stability of our enterprise data platform. You will troubleshoot complex data workflows and drive operational excellence across Databricks, Airflow, and DBT environments.

The role involves monitoring jobs, investigating incidents, and performing RCA to implement preventive solutions. Collaboration with engineering teams and on-call rotations are part of the responsibilities.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in CS/IT or related field.
• Certifications in Databricks, Azure, AWS, or Data Engineering are a plus.
• Experience in Agile and DevOps environments.
• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira and Confluence.

Responsabilidades

• Provide L3 production support for enterprise data and analytics platforms.
• Monitor and troubleshoot Databricks jobs, Airflow workflows, DAG failures, and DBT transformations.
• Investigate and resolve incidents, ensuring SLA adherence and system reliability.
• Perform root cause analysis and implement preventive solutions.
• Optimize data pipeline performance, Spark workloads, and platform operations.
• Support CI/CD deployments and release activities.
• Develop monitoring, alerting, and automation solutions to improve operational efficiency.
• Collaborate with engineering and business teams to maintain a highly available data platform.
• Participate in on-call support rotations and major incident management.

L3 Support Engineer – Data Platform (Databricks, Airflow & DBT)

Experience: 5-10 Years

Location: Hybrid / Onsite / Flexible (Mty, CDMX, GDL or Qro.)

About the Role

We're looking for an experienced L3 Support Engineer to help ensure the reliability, performance, and stability of our enterprise data platform. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys troubleshooting complex data workflows, solving production issues, and driving operational excellence across modern data environments.

Required Skills

• Apache Airflow & DAG-based orchestration
• DBT (Data Build Tool)
• Python, SQL, PySpark, Spark SQL
• ETL/ELT pipelines and Data Warehousing concepts
• Cloud platforms: Azure (preferred), AWS, or GCP
• CI/CD and deployment processes
• Monitoring, logging, and observability tools
• Strong troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills

What You'll Do

• Familiarity with ServiceNow, Jira, and Confluence.
