Job summary

Fut-ure Recruitment and Technology is seeking a Data Engineer for a global E-learning client. You will consult with stakeholders, collaborate with Data Scientists, and build ML models to enable data-driven decisions.

The role requires strong Python, SQL, and R skills, plus experience with Power BI, data modeling, and reporting. Linux experience and version control are expected in a dynamic, collaborative environment.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience as a Data Scientist
• Master’s degree in mathematics, computer science, or equivalent
• Ability to write clean code, preferably in Python
• Data scientist with knowledge in Power BI, SQL, and R
• Build data model in SQL
• Build reports in Power BI
• Fluent in statistical programming with R
• Map analysis with Arcgis or R
• Turn business requirements into smart visualizations
• Information modeling
• Capability to review the literature to identify state-of-the-art algorithms in project-specific areas
• Experience with Linux & the command line
• Experience with version control and reviews

Responsibilities

• Consult stakeholders on data-related questions and promote self-service platform for business goals
• Work with Data Scientists to ensure quality through code reviews and knowledge sharing
• Build machine learning models to drive growth in the business
• Develop data-oriented solutions to solve complex business problems leading to data-driven decision making
• Create reporting and visualizations and educate the company on your findings
