Fanatics Collectibles is establishing a new Mexico City technology hub focused on scalable data systems. We seek a Data Engineer II to scale our data infrastructure, support the Topps data platform, and optimize Snowflake architecture for analytics and BI.

You will build pipelines across structured and unstructured sources and collaborate with product and business teams. Responsibilities include modeling in SQL/NoSQL, data quality, and improving ETL processes using Python, dbt, and AWS tools in

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field, or equivalent experience.
• 2+ years in data or backend data systems roles.
• Proficiency in Python, SQL, and dbt for data manipulation and pipelines.
• Familiarity with Shopify APIs.
• Experience with Snowflake including design and query optimization.
• Experience with AWS and tools like Lambda, S3, Glue.
• Familiarity with Spark or Airflow and modern orchestration.
• Comfortable in a fast-paced, iterative environment.

Responsabilidades

• Develop, deploy, and maintain cloud-native data pipelines and integrations.
• Build and optimize data models in relational and NoSQL databases.
• Implement data quality, observability, and reliability checks.
• Support Snowflake modeling for Topps datasets and analytics pipelines.
• Enhance Terraform projects for Snowflake RBAC.
• Collaborate with data engineers, analysts, PMs, and stakeholders to deliver data solutions.
• Participate in code reviews and adopt high engineering standards.
• Contribute to onboarding and documentation of data sources and pipelines.
• Continuously learn new technologies to improve performance and maintainability.
