Cognizant is seeking a Hybrid Infra CI/CD Engineer to drive end-to-end design and implementation of automated deployment pipelines across AWS-based environments in Mexico. You will collaborate with application and data teams to integrate workflows and governance, ensuring fast, reliable and auditable delivery of changes.

Formación

• Demonstrate strong experience working with Infra CI CD pipelines including design configuration troubleshooting and optimization to support complex application and data environments
• Show advanced proficiency with AWS services relevant to infrastructure and delivery automation such as compute storage network identity and monitoring components used in modern cloud native platforms
• Apply solid hands on expertise with Github Actions including workflows runners secrets management and integration with third party tools to create secure and maintainable automation pipelines
• Use practical experience with Informatica Cloud to design deploy and manage cloud data integration processes covering connectivity transformations scheduling and error handling for enterprise data flows
• Bring direct experience with Snowflake including Cortex Code and workload management to handle schema evolution query optimization environment separation and automated deployments of data artifacts

Responsabilidades

• Drive end to end design and implementation of Infra CI CD pipelines that automate build test and deployment processes across AWS based environments to ensure fast reliable and repeatable delivery of changes
• Coordinate closely with application and data engineering teams to integrate Github Actions workflows with repository strategies branching models and approval gates that align with enterprise governance and audit needs
• Optimize configuration of AWS services used for infrastructure automation such as compute storage networking and security components to deliver resilient cost efficient and scalable platforms for critical workloads
• Implement robust deployment strategies for Informatica Cloud integrations including parameterization environment promotion and rollback procedures that reduce risk and enhance data pipeline reliability
• Configure and maintain CI CD orchestration for Snowflake workloads leveraging Snowflake Cortex Code and related tooling to streamline schema management code deployment and data transformation lifecycle
• Establish strong observability and feedback mechanisms across all pipeline stages using logging metrics and alerting so teams can quickly detect issues troubleshoot failures and continuously improve delivery performance
• Collaborate with architects and senior engineers to refine technical standards patterns and reusable templates for pipelines and infrastructure making it easier for teams to adopt consistent delivery practices
• Guide code review practices and verification steps embedded in pipelines to enforce security checks data quality validation and performance baselines thereby protecting the integrity of business critical data assets
• Document detailed runbooks pipeline diagrams and operational procedures that enable smooth handover to support teams and reduce onboarding time for new contributors working in the hybrid environment
• Coordinate testing and deployment calendars with stakeholders to minimize production disruption while ensuring that new features data models and integrations reach users and downstream systems on predictable schedules
• Mentor team members on best practices for CI CD cloud infrastructure and data platform delivery helping them build practical skills that increase overall team effectiveness and project throughput
• Align pipeline and platform enhancements with organizational objectives by prioritizing automation initiatives that reduce manual effort shorten release cycles and improve reliability of data driven decision making
• Contribute to continuous improvement by evaluating new AWS capabilities Github Actions features and Snowflake advancements then proposing incremental upgrades that strengthen platform resilience and social impact of data solutions
