Job summary

BairesDev is seeking a Data Architect to define and govern data strategy, model data from diverse sources, and shape the data warehouse architecture using Medallion Architecture. This role collaborates with stakeholders to ensure reliable, scalable data assets and supports a fully remote work setup.

Qualifications

• 5+ years of experience in data architecture.
• Strong expertise in Microsoft Azure Data Services.
• Proven experience with data modeling from unstructured data.
• Deep knowledge of Medallion Architecture.
• Advanced SQL skills.
• Experience with taxonomy creation.
• Strong stakeholder collaboration skills.
• Experience with schema architecture and relational/dimensional modeling.
• Advanced proficiency in English.

Responsibilities

• Design and define data strategy using Medallion Architecture in collaboration with business stakeholders.
• Model data from unstructured sources into clean, usable structures.
• Design the governed data architecture and canonical taxonomy for the data warehouse.
• Define transformation logic ensuring downstream consumers can rely on data assets.
