Job summary

Capgemini Engineering in Mexico seeks a senior Data Architect to define end-to-end data platform architectures and governance. You will create logical/physical models, review designs, and guide implementation teams across data technology initiatives.

The role requires 10+ years in data/architecture, lakehouse/streaming experience, and advanced English. Banking domain knowledge is a plus. Capgemini emphasizes flexible, empowering work arrangements and opportunities for growth.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent.
• 10+ years of experience, with prior Data Architect roles.
• Experience in Solution/Data Architecture, architecture docs, enterprise data platforms.
• Experience in data modeling, enterprise integration, data governance, data quality frameworks, domain-driven design.
• Banking/financial services experience preferred.
• Experience with lakehouse and streaming architectures.
• Experience with cloud providers GCP/AWS.
• Advanced English communication required.

You will collaborate with a top client in the Banking Industry as a Data Architect

Main Responsibilities

• Define end-to-end architecture for data platforms and analytics solutions.
• Create logical and physical data models.
• Establish architecture standards and governance.
• Review solutions for scalability, resilience, security, and performance.
• Lead architecture reviews and design forums.
• Produce architecture artifacts and roadmaps.
• Guide implementation teams on strategic design decisions.
• Define enterprise data architecture, design scalable data solutions, and ensure alignment with governance and business strategy across the Data Technology organization.

YOUR PROFILE

• Bachelos Degree in Computer Sciences or equivalent
• 10 years of experience, and previous experience as Data architect
• Experience in Solution Architecture, Data Architecture, Architecture Documentation, Enterprise Data Platforms
• Expeirence in Data Modeline, Enterprise Integration, Data Governance, Data Quality Frameworks, Domain-driven Design
• Banking/Financial Services experience
• Working experience with Lakehouse architecture, Streaming architectures
• Experience working with Cloud Providers GCP (preferably) or AWS
• Advanced English Communication

Nice-to-have (extra) Skills

• Certification in TOGAF
• Cloud Architect Certifications
