Luxoft is seeking an experienced Data Architect to lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide data architecture strategy. You will integrate SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, Snowflake, dbt, ADF, and Power BI to enable trusted, scalable data across multiple domains.

You will define integration patterns, data-sharing frameworks, and modern data platforms, while collaborating with stakeholders, analytics teams, and data engineers to deliver reusable, scalable solutions that drive enterprise

Formación

• Must have 12+ years of experience in Data Architecture with strong expertise in SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, Snowflake, dbt, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Power BI.
• Proven experience designing enterprise-scale data models, data governance frameworks, integration architectures, and modern cloud data platforms.
• Strong knowledge of master data management, data quality, metadata, lineage, security, and analytics ecosystems.
• Ability to lead enterprise data transformation initiatives and collaborate with business and technology stakeholders across global programs.

Responsabilidades

• Define and implement enterprise-wide data architecture strategies across SAP and cloud data platforms.
• Design scalable enterprise data models, semantic layers, and reusable data products to support analytics and reporting.
• Establish and enforce data governance standards, including data quality, lineage, metadata management, security, retention, and compliance.
• Architect integration frameworks between SAP and non-SAP applications, ensuring seamless data flow across enterprise systems.
• Design modern cloud data platforms, including Snowflake-based architectures, Azure Data Factory pipelines, and lakehouse solutions.
• Lead data modernization initiatives and drive adoption of best practices for scalable and future-ready data ecosystems.
• Create and maintain a consistent enterprise data model across Supply Chain, Procurement, SRM, Trade Promotion, and Clinical Development domains.
• Partner with business stakeholders, SAP functional teams, analytics teams, and data engineering teams to align data solutions with business objectives.
• Provide architectural guidance for Snowflake, dbt, Power BI, and enterprise analytics solutions.
• Drive master data management (MDM) initiatives and ensure data interoperability across enterprise platforms.
• Evaluate technology options and make strategic architecture recommendations to maximize scalability, performance, and business value.
• Lead enterprise-wide data transformation programs and support governance, architecture reviews, and solution roadmaps.
• Mentor data engineers, solution architects, and analytics teams on enterprise data architecture best practices.
• Ensure platform reliability, performance, and adherence to enterprise security and compliance requirements.
• Support global stakeholders and collaborate across geographically distributed teams while maintaining coverage aligned with US business hours.

Project description

Lead the design and implementation of an enterprise-wide data architecture strategy for a global organization, enabling trusted, scalable, and business-ready data across Supply Chain, Procurement, Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Trade Promotion, and Clinical Development domains. The role focuses on establishing a unified data ecosystem by integrating SAP S/4HANA, SAP BW, Snowflake, dbt, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Power BI platforms.Drive data modernization initiatives by designing enterprise data models, semantic layers, data products, and lakehouse architectures while ensuring high standards for data governance, quality, lineage, metadata management, security, and compliance. Collaborate closely with business stakeholders, SAP teams, analytics teams, and data engineering teams to deliver reusable, scalable, and interoperable data solutions that support enterprise analytics, self-service reporting, and strategic decision-making.The architect will be responsible for defining integration patterns between SAP and non-SAP applications, establishing data-sharing frameworks, and leading enterprise-wide data transformation programs to maximize business value, improve operational efficiency, and enable data-driven decision-making across multiple business functions.

Nice to have

Experience with Supplier Relationship Management (SRM), Trade Promotion Management, and Clinical Development/Life Sciences domains. Knowledge of Event-Driven Architecture, Microservices, and modern integration patterns is highly desirable. Exposure to Azure cloud services beyond ADF, DevSecOps practices, CI/CD pipelines, Infrastructure as Code (Terraform), and container platforms such as Kubernetes is preferred. Experience with Data Governance, Master Data Management (MDM), Power BI, Advanced Analytics, Application Rationalization, and technology strategy initiatives such as buy-vs-build assessments will be an added advantage. Candidates with experience supporting enterprise cloud modernization, data platform transformation, and large-scale digital transformation programs in global organizations will be preferred.
