MSCI Inc. is seeking a data operations professional to join the Benchmark & Third-Party Portfolio team. You will help productionize market data, build analytics capabilities, and deliver high-quality insights to MSCI's global clients.

The role emphasizes data management, data visualization, and cross-functional collaboration across IT, Research, and Product teams. A background in finance or related fields and up to 5 years of experience is preferred.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent in a related field; CFA/FRM is a plus.
• 0–5 years of relevant professional experience.
• Interest in data management, financial markets, and risk.
• Proficiency with SQL, Python, R or Perl and UNIX basics is advantageous.
• Experience with data visualization tools (Power BI/Tableau/Spotfire) and Git preferred.
• Strong analytical, detail-oriented, and communication skills.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and work in Agile environments.

Responsabilidades

• Support data operations for market data production including sourcing, processing, loading, and analysis.
• Monitor and maintain production pipelines; optimize processes for efficiency.
• Develop subject-matter expertise on 3rd Party Benchmarks and Portfolios.
• Lead large-scale data projects with internal and external clients.
• Create business specifications and collaborate with IT, Research, and Product teams.
• Build and manage data metrics; contribute to reporting and visualization efforts.
• Assist with automated reporting and metrics generation.
