MSCI Inc is seeking an Analyst for the Liquid Markets Transparency Data team to process positions and exposures data for marketable funds and to handle client inquiries about methodologies and data updates.

The role is AI-first and requires frequent use of AI tools (ChatGPT, Claude, and internal solutions) to improve workflows and data quality, while collaborating with team members to meet deadlines.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, Business Administration, Information Systems, or related field.
• 0–3 years of experience; recent graduates encouraged.
• Foundational knowledge of financial markets and capital markets.
• AI-first role; comfortable using AI tools daily.
• Strong attention to detail and data accuracy.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills; able to explain data/methodologies clearly.
• Strong client-service orientation and proactive issue resolution.
• Strong analytical and quantitative skills with data, statistics, and large datasets.
• Experience with CRM platforms (Salesforce, Freshdesk or similar) preferred.
• Proficiency with Excel and SQL desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Process, validate, and maintain position and exposure data with high accuracy.
• Handle client cases for Data: respond to queries, explain data and methodologies, manage data updates.
• Use AI tools as part of day-to-day work and identify new AI applications to improve workflows.
• Perform quality-control and audit checks, expanding ownership of the audit process over time.
• Develop understanding of fund exposures, valuations, capital flows, risk reporting methods.
• Comply with data policies and collaborate to meet deadlines.
