Job summary

Valeo is seeking a Cycle Counter in the Logistics - J organization. The role focuses on inventory reliability, counting cycles, data integrity, and stock reconciliation to minimize breakages and losses.

Responsibilities span multiple levels, with emphasis on adherence to environmental, health and safety standards, policy compliance, and participation in continuous improvement initiatives within the team.

Qualifications

• Experience in inventory management and cycle counting processes.
• Ability to enter and verify data accurately in the system.
• Familiarity with ERP and MS Excel for stock reporting.
• Understanding of environmental, health and safety guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Respect and enforce all standards in terms of environmental management, energy and health and safety risk prevention and alert in the event of deviation.
• Comply with current policies and procedures.
• Participate in continuous improvement through PAs.
• Respect the rules for product handling and stock integrity.
• Analyze inventory discrepancies and participate in audits.

Inventory reliability

• List available items.

• Carry out the counts according to the frequency (schedule) assigned to it and respecting the priorities.

• Enter data into the database and ensure the reliability of the data reported.

• Compare theoretical stocks and physical stocks.

• Alert in the event of deviations to avoid breakages or losses.

• Check the DLC of consumables.

• Carry out waste audits to ensure the reliability of declarations.

• Participate in the preparation and completion of the periodic general inventory.

• Control receipt of orders

RESPONSIBILITIES

Level 1

• Respect and enforce all standards in terms of environmental management, energy and health and safety risk prevention and alert in the event of deviation.
• Comply with current policies and procedures .
• Participate in the continuous improvement process within the team, in particular through the emergence and implementation of PAs.
• Respect the rules for respecting the product.

Level 2

• May be required to partially replace a higher qualification job.

Level 3

• Participate in the analysis of inventory discrepancies.
