DSV – Global transport and logistics in Mexico City seeks a Team Lead – Customs to steer a specialists team handling customs for international clients. You will drive process optimization, KPI/SLA management, compliance, quality control and people management.

You will lead recruitment, training, workload planning, and collaborate with internal and external stakeholders; strong English is required and EU-regulations knowledge is essential for this role.

Formación

• Minimum 2 years of experience managing a team in a similar role.
• Knowledge of EU customs regulations.
• Experience in customs, logistics, transportation, tax, or related areas.
• English proficiency at C1 level or higher.

Responsabilidades

• Lead and develop the Customs team, including performance management, training, recruitment, and workload planning.
• Manage customs processes, ensuring compliance with applicable customs and tax regulations and the accuracy of required documentation.
• Define and monitor KPIs and SLAs, ensuring service quality, timeliness, and continuous improvement.
• Identify opportunities to optimize, standardize, and automate customs processes.
• Manage relationships with DSV branches, customers, and other internal/external stakeholders.
• Monitor operational performance, costs, and P&L, providing regular reporting to management.
• Ensure adherence to quality standards, internal procedures, audits, and QMS requirements.
• Promote knowledge sharing, continuous improvement, and a strong performance and feedback culture within the team.
