A logistics company in Mexicali is seeking an experienced candidate for import/export activities. Responsibilities include contacting suppliers, organizing payments, and customs follow-ups. Candidates should have at least 1 year of experience, knowledge of logistics processes, and a good command of English. This role may require working after hours and weekends.

Formación

• Minimum 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Familiarity with Anex 24 and 30.
• Knowledge of Regla Octava.
• Proficient in import/export documentation.

Responsabilidades

• Contact vendors and suppliers for import orders.
• Organize transportation fee payments.
• Initiate and follow-up on customs activities.

Import related activities

• Contacting the vendors and suppliers abroad for import orders
• Searching and selecting transporters
• Registrations with the bonded warehouse
• Document entries to the systems
• Organization of the import related payments
• Initiation and follow-up of all customs related activities
• Filings according to the cost estimations
• All activities related to letter of credits

Export & transit related activities

• Communicating with customers abroad
• Searching and selecting transporters
• Organization of transportation fee payments
• Initiation and follow-up of all customs related activities
• Filings according to the cost estimations
• All activities related to letter of credits

Knowledge / Qualifications

• Minimun 1 year of experience in a similar role.
• Anex 24 and 30
• Regla Octava
• Documentation
• Import/Export
• Logistics Process Knowledge
• Good level of English.
• Knowledge on Logistics Systems(Milenium, Vastera, etc. )
• Well organized and able to work under pressure
• Drive and self motivation, after hours and weekend working might be required
