What you’ll do
  • Interpret rules of origin for trade agreements, evaluate origin qualification for following agreements: USMCA, USMCA-MA, ORIGIN DECLARATION, USMCA-LVC, USMCA-AALA, US-ISRAEL, US-AUSTRALIA, US-COLOMBIA, US-PERU, US-KOREA, ACE55-MERCOSUR, US-CHILE, US-OMAN, US-BAHRAIN.
  • Issue certificates of origin and supporting documents to customers, ensuring a reduction or elimination of tax payments.
  • Submit application for certificate of origin to the Ministry of Economy in Mexico (ACE-55).
  • Provide internal reports to Mexico Facilities and to business unit for new products.
  • Proactively support on improvements to minimize or eliminate payment of duties.
What is required
  • Bachelor's Degree in International Business or in Customs Compliance, Business Administration.
  • 2 years (at least) of experience in: Analysis and certifications of origin.
  • Fluency in English.
  • Skills: Negotiation, Effective communication with related areas: Business unit, external customers, Production control & internal users. Manage Execution & Drive collaboration.
