Expeditors International in Querétaro is seeking a Customs Brokerage professional to ensure proper and timely movement and clearance of freight while delivering exceptional customer service.

You will work within the Customs Brokerage department, collaborating with clients and internal teams to navigate regulatory requirements and ensure accurate documentation and timely customs clearance.

Formación

• Good knowledge of customs brokerage process and system essential
• Good knowledge of customs legislation, especially with regards to classification, valuation and origin
• Understanding of ocean, transcon and air documentation process
• Knowledge of air, road and ocean transport
• Good knowledge of incoterms
• Hazardous Materials certification (preferred)

Responsabilidades

• Ensure smooth and timely customs process flow for imports and exports
• Verify documents for customs purposes are compliant and correct
• Interact with customers and service providers to meet KPI standards
• Maintain timely data entry into operating systems and 52 hours of training per year
• Act as liaison between customs authorities and customers in shipments
