A global outsourcing leader is seeking a remote Customer Service Representative to ensure coordination of freight as per customer needs. The ideal candidate will have 3-4 years of experience, be bilingual in Spanish and English, and possess strong communication skills. This role offers flexibility with working hours from Monday to Thursday and Thursday to Sunday, with a competitive hourly rate of $8 - $9.

Overview

We are seeking remote Customer Service Representative to join our team in Mexico, who will be responsible for ensuring the movement of freight by our carriers is coordinated according to our customer’s needs.

Working Hours

Monday – Thursday, 7:00 PM – 5:00 AM

Thursday – Sunday, 7:00 PM – 6:00 AM

Thursday – Sunday, 8:00 AM – 6:00 PM

Responsibilities
  • Manages the customer board by providing updates and coordinating with dispatchers, shippers, and consignees.
  • Calling carriers to confirm pick up and deliveries and advise dispatcher/shipper/consignee of delays.
  • Emailing/calling clients when shipments are delivered.
  • Track and trace merchandise to provide the latest updates quickly.
  • Entering pro number and obtaining PODs after shipments are dropped off at our terminals.
  • Providing PODs to billing.
  • Provides key clients with distinct customer service for specialized needs.
  • Requests missing PODs from carriers when advised by billing.
  • Provides daily reports to key clients.
  • Informs dispatchers if appointments are required for delivery.
  • Supports dispatchers with data entry when needed.
Requirements
  • 3 to 4 years of experience.
  • Languages: Spanish and English.
  • Knowledge of Spanish and English is mandatory as our clients come from Mexico and the United States. Communications will be 60% in Spanish and 40% in English.

Salary: $8 - $9 an hour
