PosiTrace, a Global Fleet Management company, seeks a Senior Finance Controller to own month-end close, compliance and cross-border accounting between Mexico and Canada. Lead a four-person team and partner with the Country Manager and Vancouver office.

Ideal candidate has extensive Mexican finance experience, strong IFRS/GAAP knowledge, and hands-on ContPAQi proficiency to drive timely, accurate financial statements and strategic cost management.

Formación

• Public Accountant with cédula profesional; IMCP certification is a plus.
• 8+ years of experience, including leadership roles such as Controller or #2 in finance of a foreign-owned subsidiary in Mexico with head office outside.
• Experience with recurring billing, hardware inventory and field technicians in telematics or related services.
• Strong NIF plus IFRS or US GAAP; hands-on with ContPAQi; ERP migration experience is a plus.
• Fluent in Spanish and English; able to run the close in Spanish and coordinate with Canada in English.
• Ability to write procedures and enforce compliance.

Responsabilidades

• Close monthly close in ContPAQi within five days and deliver statements for consolidation.
• Own ISR, IVA, retenciones, DIOT and CFDI with the SAT and related compliance calendars.
• Manage bank reconciliations, procurement controls, accounts payable and order-to-cash cycles.
• Oversee hardware inventory at serial level and landed cost for installations and imports.
• Ensure audit readiness with SAT and maintain PBC lists for audits.
• Lead a team of four: Senior Accountant, Accounts Payable, Order-to-Cash and Collections.
