Signify in Monterrey seeks a Credit Risk Analyst to evaluate credit applications, analyze financial statements, and determine risk levels across a diverse customer portfolio.

You will prepare detailed risk assessments, collaborate with Sales and Finance to develop mitigation strategies, and maintain up-to-date knowledge of market trends affecting credit risk. Bilingual Spanish and English preferred, facilitating communication with regional teams.

Formación

  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, or Accounting to understand credit risk principles.
  • 3–5 years of experience in credit risk assessment or credit management.
  • Professional certification such as CCRA is preferred to ensure policy compliance.

Job Summary

Analyzes credit data and financial statements to determine the risk in lending money. Prepares reports that include the degree of risk and possible solutions. Collaborates with other departments to monitor and mitigate credit risks.

Key Areas of Responsibility


  • Evaluates credit applications and financial documents to assess creditworthiness.

  • Monitors existing credit accounts to identify potential risks and irregularities.

  • Prepares detailed risk assessment reports for management review.

  • Collaborates with sales and finance teams to develop risk mitigation strategies.

  • Maintains up-to-date knowledge of market trends and economic factors affecting credit risk.

  • Communicates credit policies and procedures to internal stakeholders and clients.

  • Credit Risk Management: Responsible for managing credit risk across a diverse portfolio of accounts related to sales on credit to customers.

  • Compliance and Controls: Ensures adherence to Global Credit Risk Policy, IC 12 and 275 requirements, and related Finance Directives.

  • Risk Assessment: Determines credit limits, risk categories, and next review dates using credit assessment models and structured risk scoring approaches.

  • Authorizes blocking or releasing sales orders based on defined approval criteria.

  • Drive continuous process enhancements, performance management, and forecasting results while supporting Finance Business Partners.

  • Delinquency Control: Establishes and maintains an effective delinquency control and follow-up program for late, delinquent, or potentially delinquent customer accounts.

  • Work closely with the collections team, KAMs and FBPs to address potential delinquencies.

  • Coordinates and supports collections and queries activities between CLS business for Canada, USA, and Mexico Divisions.

  • Usage of GetPaid Software for collection practices and standardization purposes

  • Provides support to the Pune Team – providing payment details of cash received daily in the bank to ensure proper application and issuance of Complemento de pago in a timely manner as well. In addition, supports other statutory requirements by the TAX authority SAT in Mexico for invoices and correct statutory billing requirements.

  • Provides support to the Pune Team – resolving COA balances and Claims Resolution assistance in timely manner as per KPI’s and internal directives.

  • Organize, support, and develop accounts receivable and cash collection processes.

  • Establishes, implements, and maintains an effective delinquency control and follow-up program for all customer accounts that are late, delinquent, potentially delinquent, or written off.

  • Execute the collection process for defined customers assigned.

  • Perform reconciliation of customer accounts: Order to Cash activities (e.g. credit notes with open items)

  • Provides POD, invoices, and any other evidence to the customer to ensure payment to be received in timely manner.

  • Active player in resolving issues that hold invoices for payment by working in cooperation with Customer Service, Sales and Order management teams.

  • Re enforcement of the pay and deduct policy by CLS

  • Participates in any other projects that are Order to Cash activities related to best optimization of Cash flow improvements.

Critical Experiences


  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Economics, Accounting, or a related field is required to understand financial analysis and credit risk principles.

  • Minimum 3-5 years of experience in credit risk assessment, financial analysis, or credit management within a corporate finance or banking environment.

  • Professional certification in credit risk management such as Certified Credit Risk Analyst (CCRA) or equivalent is required to ensure compliance and proficiency in credit risk policies and controls.
