Job summary

S&P Global Ratings in Mexico City seeks an entry-level Research Analyst to contribute high-quality credit research and data packs for rating decisions and external publications.

You will collect, clean, validate financial data, support financial model maintenance, monitor issuer developments, and contribute to templates and automation while ensuring confidentiality and governance standards, including validated AI outputs.

Qualifications

• Strong research and data synthesis skills required.
• Proven ability to produce clear, structured outputs.
• Experience with spreadsheets and data tools preferred.
• Familiarity with generative AI tools and validation discipline.

Responsibilities

• Maintain high-quality research and data packs; collect, clean, and validate financial data; support financial model maintenance.
• Monitor issuer, sector, and market developments and produce concise summaries for analysts and clients.
• Contribute to templates, checklists and process improvements, ensuring AI outputs are validated and properly attributed.
• Apply governance standards and ensure confidentiality in all work.
