We are seeking an experienced and strategic Credit & Accounts Receivable Manager to lead our regional Credit and AR operations from Mexico City. This role will provide oversight for teams supporting Credit and Collections across the U.S., Canada, and LATAM, ensuring execution aligns with global policy, commercial objectives, and financial governance standards. The ideal candidate will act as a regional leader and business partner, managing risk exposure, driving process improvements, and ensuring consistency across multiple geographies.

Credit & Collections Oversight
  • Provide leadership and oversight for regional Credit and Collections teams, ensuring adherence to policy and execution of credit risk mitigation strategies
  • Review and approve escalated credit decisions, payment terms, and exposure management in collaboration with Commercial and Controllership teams
  • Guide regional team members in managing high-risk accounts, negotiating payment plans, and applying appropriate credit actions (e.g., holds, LoCs, collateral)
  • Monitor AR portfolio health and ensure consistent performance against aging and DSO targets
Strategic AR Governance
  • Ensure all AR activities align with internal controls, audit requirements, and SOX documentation
  • Partner with shared services, offshore support teams, and Commercial Finance to deliver on global AR processes and reporting
  • Act as the escalation point for key customer disputes, strategic claims, and financial exposure reviews
  • Lead the local execution of brand transitions, TSA support, and customer service-level realignments as needed
Leadership & Regional Collaboration
  • Lead and mentor the AR team based in Mexico City, with responsibility for talent development, coaching, and performance oversight
  • Serve as the regional link to the global Credit & AR leadership team, collaborating with peers in the U.S. and Bangalore
  • Contribute to global process improvement, automation, and standardization initiatives
  • Provide regular insights and reporting to executive leadership on AR performance, risk posture, and customer trends
About You
Qualifications
  • BA degree in Finance, Accounting, Business Administration, or a related field – or equivalent related experience
  • 7+ years of progressive experience in Credit, AR, or Financial Operations, with regional or global scope
  • Proven track record in leading teams and managing cross-functional stakeholders
  • Expertise in credit risk analysis, collections governance, and AR reporting
  • Familiarity with SAP (S/4HANA), OpenText, Excel, and financial reporting tools (e.g., Power BI)
  • Fluent in Spanish and English (written and verbal)
