Kidde Global Solutions, located in Navojoa, Sonora, Mexico, is seeking a Cost Manager responsible for preparing and analyzing financial reports. This role includes monitoring manufacturing costs and ensuring the integrity of financial information.

The ideal candidate will possess a Bachelor's degree in accounting or Finance with at least 5 years of experience in manufacturing finance environments. Proficiency in advanced Excel and effective communication skills are essential.

Formación

• Minimum of 5 years of experience in finance and/or accounting, preferably in manufacturing cost environments.
• Intermediate to advanced English proficiency (able to hold conversations and write emails).

Responsabilidades

• Prepare weekly inventory and PPV reports.
• Prepare quarterly excess and obsolescence reports (accounting reserve).
• Approve inventory adjustments due to discrepancies, engineering changes, obsolescence, among others.
• Authorize the use of general ledger accounts for manual entries.
• Provide support in the review of ECOs.
• Prepare and analyze month-end journal entries.
• Consolidate and explain financial information during month-end close.
• Prepare and consolidate the annual standard cost.
• Monitor and control manufacturing costs.
• Perform monthly balance sheet account reconciliations.
• Coordinate and support internal and external audits.
• Oversee inventory adjustments and cycle counts (KFP).
• Perform monthly indirect material adjustments.
• Maintain up-to-date department documentation.
• Participate in Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) programs.
• Promptly report unsafe conditions and acts, as well as incidents.
• Comply with all Environmental, Health, and Safety policies and procedures.
