Sensata in Mexico is seeking a Finance Cost Analyst to support forecasting, reporting and operational metrics. You will work with cross-functional teams to analyze financial data and build models that inform decision-making and cost control.

The role emphasizes collaboration, strong communication, and rigorous analysis in a fast-paced environment. You will produce regular leadership-ready reports and contribute to efficiency improvements across procurement and payments processes.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience.

Responsabilidades

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking.
• Conduct variance analysis between actual, prior and standard costs.
• Analyze financial data and build cost and financial models for decision support.
• Prepare reports on financial and cost performance for leadership reviews.
• Analyze past results, identify trends, and recommend improvements.
• Provide trend analyses and forecasts with optimization recommendations.
• Recommend actions by analyzing data and conducting comparative analyses.
• Identify and drive process improvements, including standard and ad-hoc reports.
• Recommend changes in procedures to improve payment and procurement efficiency.
• Examine data to help reduce costs across operations.
• Analyze market conditions to identify growth opportunities and risks.

General Responsibilities

• Perform financial forecasting, reporting, and operational metrics tracking
• Performs variance analysis between actual, prior and standard costs
• Analyze financial data and create cost and financial models for decision support
• Report on financial and cost performance and prepare for regular leadership reviews
• Analyze past results, perform variance analysis, identify trends, and make recommendations for improvements
• Provide analysis of trends and forecasts and recommend actions for optimization
• Recommend actions by analyzing and interpreting data and making comparative analyses; study proposed changes in methods and materials
• Identify and drive process improvements, including the creation of standard and ad-hoc reports, and tools
• Recommend changes in operating procedures to improve efficiencies in payment and procurement processes
• Examine data to help with reducing cost in all operations
• Analyze the market and identify opportunities for growth and potential risks

Experience / Qualifications

• A university degree required (i.e. Bachelors degree) or equivalent relevant work experience.
• Must be a team player able to work in a fast-paced environment with demonstrated ability to handle multiple competing tasks and demands
• Strong communication skills; oral, written and presentation
• Strong organization, planning and time management skills to achieve results
• Strong personal and professional ethical values and integrity
• Holds self-accountable to achieving goals and standards
• Proficient in Microsoft Office programs (Outlook, Word, PowerPoint, and Excel)
