Franke LLC, a global manufacturer with divisions in kitchen facilities and the professional foodservice systems, seeks a proactive engineering intern in Mexico to support cost analysis and backlog reduction within the Engineering team.

You will review technical drawings, help determine manufacturing and setup times, and collaborate with Production, Quality, Safety, and Engineering to ensure accurate costing data and timely reporting.

Formación

• Pursuing a degree in Industrial Engineering, or related field.
• Basic knowledge of manufacturing processes and production operations.
• Analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Intermediate or advanced English proficiency.
• Proactive attitude and willingness to learn.

Responsabilidades

• Review and interpret technical drawings and engineering documentation.
• Verify standard manufacturing times against actual production times
• Support the determination of manufacturing and setup times for new products
• Collaborate with Production, Quality, Safety, and Engineering teams
• Analyze and update technical data for costing system
• Track project progress and report findings to the responsible engineer

About the job

We are looking for a proactive and analytical intern to support our Engineering team in reducing operational backlogs and improving the efficiency of our costing system. You will contribute to the analysis of technical drawings, assembly processes, and manufacturingdata to ensure accurateand timely cost information.
