Hitachi Energy is seeking a seasoned SAP FICO specialist to join our Controlling Capability Center. You will work on S/4HANA FI/CO implementations and harmonization across 60 countries, collaborating with Global Functions, BUs and the Hitachi central organization.

The role emphasizes R2R governance, master data management, and costing processes in a manufacturing/project environment. Strong English communication and a track record in SAP certifications will be valued.

Formación

• 6–8+ years of experience in S/4Hana FI/CO in manufacturing/project environments.
• Experience with Sales & Distribution, Production Planning, Projects, and Material Master in SAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with CMA/CA or equivalent; SAP FICO certification preferred.
• Strong English communication and stakeholder management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Map business processes focusing on FP&A and R2R within SAP.
• Set up procedures, guidelines, playbooks and training materials for Record to Report.
• Support Global Functions and BUs on new initiatives.
• Maintain Master Data for Activity Type and Activity Rates.
• Run RA (Result Analysis) and analyze impact on Revenue, COGS, Inventory for various archetypes.
• Understand Product Costing and CO-PA cycles and their interaction with Inventory valuation.

The Opportunity

Build and contribute to the team within the Controlling Capability Centers serving the entire Finance & Controlling organization as a command center for CO module and Management Accounting activities on S4/HANA. The work requires engagement with Global Functions, BUs, and Hitachi central organization to understand requirements, priorities, and planned initiatives. We have implementation one ERP across 60 countries with S/4Hana system (Project Reiwa) and in the process of harmonization of the Controlling related activities.

How You Will Make An Impact

• SAP technical knowledge (S/4Hana, FI/CO mandatory)
• Mapping of Business processes with more focus on Financial Planning and Analysis, Setting up procedures / developing guidelines – playbooks and training materials as part of Record 2 Report process.
• Support the Global Functions, BUs on new initiatives.
• Master Data maintenance w.r.t Activity Type, Activity Rates.
• Performing RA (Result Analysis) runs and analyzing the impact on Revenue, COGS, Inventory for the Sale order, Service order and Project (WBS) archetypes.
• Material Ledger and its impact on Result Analysis and Inventory valuation.
• Periodic activities relating to Controlling Module.
• Product Costing (Standard costing), Purchase info record, Cost Object Controlling, Profit Centre Accounting.
• Setting up of Assessment and Distribution Cycles including CO-PA cycles.
• Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.

Your Background

• Experience from stakeholder management, with good communication skills in English is a prerequisite.
• The position requires more than 6-8 years of experience in S/4Hana.
• Preferably working in Manufacturing Organization and Project environment / R2R experience.
• Working Knowledge of Sales & Distribution, Production Planning, Projects, and Material master modules in SAP.
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting with CMA / CA / CMA Inter / CA Inter / M. Com.
• Certification in SAP FICO modules would be preferred.
