Placements24 busca un/a Coordinador/a de Programas de Desarrollo Juvenil y Empoderamiento para su sede en Tijuana, Baja California, MX. Qualifications

• Título universitario en Educación, Trabajo Social, Psicología, Sociología o campo relacionado.
• Mínimo 4 años de experiencia en desarrollo juvenil o coordinación de programas.
• Experiencia en diseño e impartición de talleres para jóvenes.

Responsibilities

• Diseñar, desarrollar y ejecutar programas para liderazgo, habilidades para la vida y participación cívica de jóvenes.
• Identificar necesidades e intereses de la juventud mediante alcance comunitario y evaluaciones.
• Facilitar talleres, sesiones de mentoría y dinámicas grupales.
• Construir y mantener alianzas con escuelas, centros comunitarios, gobierno local y otras organizaciones juveniles.
• Reclutar, entrenar y supervisar mentores y voluntarios juveniles.
• Gestionar la logística del programa, programación, recursos y seguimiento de participantes.
• Monitorear progreso, recoger retroalimentación y evaluar resultados.
• Desarrollar materiales y contenido promocional para involucrar a jóvenes y partes interesadas.
• Defender las necesidades de la juventud y promover su voz en la toma de decisiones comunitarias.
• Gestionar presupuestos del programa y promover una buena administración financiera.
• Mantenerse al día de tendencias y buenas prácticas en desarrollo y empoderamiento juvenil.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, develop, and execute engaging programs focused on leadership development, life skills training, and civic participation for youth.
• Identify youth needs and interests through community outreach and needs assessments.
• Facilitate workshops, mentoring sessions, and group activities for young participants.
• Build and maintain partnerships with schools, community centers, local government, and other youth-serving organizations.
• Recruit, train, and supervise youth mentors and volunteers.
• Manage program logistics, including scheduling, resource allocation, and participant tracking.
• Monitor program progress, collect feedback, and evaluate outcomes to ensure effectiveness and impact.
• Develop program materials and promotional content to engage youth and stakeholders.
• Advocate for youth needs and promote youth voice in community decision‑making processes.
• Manage program budgets and ensure responsible financial stewardship.
• Stay informed about current trends and best practices in youth development and empowerment.

Requirements

• Bachelor's degree in Education, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, or a related field.
• Minimum of 4 years of experience in youth development, program coordination, education, or a related field.
• Proven experience in designing and delivering workshops and training for young people.
• Strong understanding of adolescent psychology and youth empowerment principles.
• Excellent facilitation, communication, and interpersonal skills.
• Ability to engage and build rapport with diverse groups of young people.
• Experience in partnership development and collaboration with community organizations.
• Strong organizational skills and experience in program management.
• Knowledge of the challenges and opportunities for youth in Tijuana, Baja California, MX is a plus.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite.
• Passion for empowering young people and fostering positive social change.
• Fluency in Spanish is required; basic English communication skills are beneficial.
