Puesto: Marketing Coordinator

The Marketing Coordinator, based at our Mexico Headquarters in Aguascalientes, MX, will play a key role in executing our marketing strategy to build brand awareness, sales enablement, and market presence across Mexico. Reporting to the Director of Marketing, this role will support initiatives across our core verticals (mobility, industrial and manufacturing, high-tech, aerospace and aviation, and life sciences) and will contribute to the successful launch of new service offerings. The Marketing Coordinator will collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver impactful campaigns, manage events and trade shows, and ensure consistent, high-quality brand representation throughout the region.

Responsibilities:

  • Copywrite and create marketing collateral for Mexico in alignment with the overall Ascent marketing direction and strategy, including digital, social media and email campaigns (industry updates, customer newsletter, etc.)
  • Assist with general internal communications and activities, including but not limited to internal newsletter publication, employee spotlights, etc.
  • Execute the marketing and brand awareness strategy in Mexico
  • Collaborate with commercial, operations and senior leadership teams for various digital and print marketing deliverables such as business cards, sales materials, PowerPoint decks, documents/forms, photography and video production and social media
  • Coordinate and manage trade shows and customer events in Mexico to ensure smooth and effective execution, including pre- and post-show communications and support
  • Oversee and execute in-country branding initiatives aligned with Ascent’s corporate brand guidelines
  • Translation of various marketing materials from English to Spanish
  • Manage promotional item production in Mexico
  • Work with media outlets on advertisements, press releases, featured stories, etc.
  • Have a hands-on approach to all marketing, brand and communications initiatives in Mexico and develop a strong working relationship with marketing counterparts based in the U.S.

Knowledge required for the position:

  • Proven work experience as a Marketing Coordinator with an understanding of best practices
  • Fluency in Spanish and English
  • Excellent project management and communications skills

  • Experience carrying out a strategic marketing plan

  • Customer Relationship Management (CRM) computer systems [Zoho preferable]
  • Office Suite [required]; Microsoft Teams/SharePoint
  • Canva [required]
  • Project management software
  • Social media management platform
  • Event management software
  • Website management software, i.e., Elementor, WordPress, etc.
  • Adobe Creative Cloud: Acrobat, Illustrator, InDesign and Photoshop

Required education and/or experience

  • Bachelor's preferably completed Marketing or Related Career.
  • Minimum 1 year of experience in marketing
  • Required English level: C2.
