Placements24 is seeking a Traffic and International Shipments Coordinator in Tijuana, Baja California, hybrid work model. You will manage international shipments, handle documentation, and coordinate with brokers and carriers to ensure compliant, cost-effective movement of goods across borders.

The role requires strong organizational skills, knowledge of trade regulations, and the ability to manage multiple shipments simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.

Qualifications

• Experience in international shipping, freight forwarding, or customs brokerage.
• Knowledge of incoterms and customs procedures for Mexico and partners.
• Strong multitasking and organizational skills.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate movement of international shipments and ensure timely delivery.
• Prepare import/export documentation, declarations, and invoices.
• Liaise with brokers, forwarders, and carriers for clearance.
• Track shipments and provide updates to clients and internal teams.
• Negotiate rates and terms with international carriers.
• Ensure compliance with trade laws and company policies.
• Resolve issues during transit and maintain shipment records.
• Collaborate with sales/ops to provide quotes and solutions.
