Forvia in Querétaro, Mexico seeks a Controls Engineer to lead maintenance and TPM initiatives in a bi-metallic automotive environment. The role emphasizes downtime analysis, preventive maintenance, and procedures development, with hands-on PLC and robot systems experience.

Required are 3+ years in industrial maintenance, experience with hydraulic/pneumatic/welding equipment, and knowledge of ISO/IATF standards; TPM training and team leadership are valued for continuous improvement.

Formación

• Mechatronics, Industrial Maintenance, or electrical engineering degree required.
• Minimum 3 years in industrial maintenance.
• Experience with hydraulic, pneumatic and welding equipment.
• 3–5 years in the automotive industry.
• Knowledge of TPM and industrial maintenance best practices.
• Spare parts inventory management experience.
• Experience managing personnel.
• Knowledge of VDA 6.1, IATF 16949, ISO 14001/45001 standards.

Responsabilidades

• Analyze machine and UAP downtime.
• Labor analysis by Maintenance Technician.
• Weekly downtime indicator analysis; issue monthly reports.
• Develop and implement preventive maintenance program weekly.
• Analyze preventive maintenance activities.
• Issue weekly and monthly preventive maintenance routines; PM software administration.
• Generate standard maintenance work procedures.
• Coordinate weekly TPM meetings and train personnel in TPM topics.
• Maintain extraction systems.
