A global automotive manufacturer in Lerma, State of Mexico is seeking a Controlling Lead Specialist to drive cost control, analyze inventory, manage fixed assets, track CAPEX, and provide financial reporting to support operational and strategic decisions.

The ideal candidate will hold a bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance, have 2+ years in cost accounting or manufacturing finance, strong Excel and JD Edwards experience, and be fluent in English, with a collaborative, hands-on approach.

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in cost accounting, controlling, or manufacturing finance.
• Experience within automotive or manufacturing environments.
• Advanced English proficiency.
• Strong Excel skills and ERP experience, preferably JD Edwards (JDE).
• Solid understanding of cost systems, inventory management, budgeting, and fixed assets.

Responsabilidades

• Maintain and update standard costs within the ERP system.
• Analyze inventory performance, BOM accuracy, and cost variances.
• Perform inventory reconciliations, cycle counts, and month-end closing activities.
• Monitor actual expenses vs. budget and provide actionable analysis.
• Manage fixed asset capitalization, depreciation, additions, and disposals.
• Track CAPEX projects and maintain investment reporting.
• Support financial reporting and drive continuous process improvements.

Location: Lerma, State of Mexico Industry: Automotive Manufacturing We are partnering with a leading global automotive manufacturer to identify a Controlling Lead Specialist for its plant in Lerma, State of Mexico . This role will be responsible for cost controlling, inventory analysis, fixed assets management, CAPEX tracking, and financial reporting to support operational and strategic decision-making.

Key Requirements

• Bachelor's Degree in Accounting, Finance, or related field.
• Minimum 2+ years of experience in cost accounting, controlling, or manufacturing finance.
• Experience within automotive or manufacturing environments.
• Advanced English proficiency.
