Hitachi Energy is seeking a Corporate Controlling & Planning Intern to support the Americas Finance organization with reporting, planning, analysis, and process improvement. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams across North America and Latin America in a hybrid work setting.

The role offers hands-on experience in a global finance environment, with opportunities to contribute to monthly closings, dashboards, and management presentations while developing technical and teamwork skills.

Formación

• Currently pursuing a Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business Administration, or a related field.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and PowerPoint.
• Familiarity with Power BI, SAP, or other financial systems is a plus.
• Ability to organize information, manage multiple priorities, and meet deadlines.
• Strong communication and teamwork skills.
• Fluent in English

Responsabilidades

• Assist in monthly and quarterly closing and reporting activities.
• Analyze financial data and variances to identify trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Support the maintenance and enhancement of reporting dashboards and management presentations.
• Assist in data collection, validation, and reconciliation activities to ensure data accuracy and consistency.
• Participate in process improvement and automation initiatives to increase reporting efficiency.
• Help prepare materials and analyses for management reviews and business discussions.
• Support special projects and ad hoc financial analysis as required.
• Responsible for ensuring compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures, and guidelines
