Preligens is looking for a Controller in Tijuana to oversee financial activities and support the CFO. The ideal candidate has extensive experience in financial management and proficiency in Microsoft Office and ERP systems. This role provides a vital link between operations and financial compliance in a dynamic environment.

Formación

  • 10+ years of experience in financial management in an international operational environment.
  • Proficient knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
  • Knowledge of database and accounting computer application systems.

Job Description

Controller assists the Chief Financial Officer MX Operations in overseeing financial activities to the assigned site including preparation of current financial reports, training of such, financial analysis, consolidation, budget and long-term planning, as well forecasting.
The site controller has financial responsibility for the reporting unit and the supervision of the local finance team

Job Requirements

EDUCATION:
- Bachelor's degree in business administration, accounting, or finance required.
- Specialization in Finance preferred
- Master's degree preferred
EXPERIENCE:
- 10+ years of experience in financial management in an international operational environment
COMPUTER SKILLS:
- Proficient knowledge Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
- Knowledge of database and accounting computer application systems to supply the most accurate financial information
- Knowledge of the IFRS standards
- Familiar with ERP system (M3, BPC

1. Be a strong business partner to management by conducting all necessary analyses at your level and leading economically-oriented meetings
2. Leads local team in terms of guidance, training, people development and governance
3. Ensures proper implementation of Internal Controls & Compliance. Secures adherence to financial policies at the site level
4. Manage site financial performance plan and provide summary to Division's management.
5. Responsible for site financials KPI and reporting and validate the completeness, accuracy and quality of the data.
6. Responsible for forecast and budget preparation in collaboration with Divisional Analyst and CFO Regional
7. Prepare presentation and GAP analysis of site results and review with CFO and EVP
8. Provides assistance and support on key financial processes such as Group procedures, internal control system, continuous monitoring, accounting rules and approbation process.
9. Perform ad-hoc analysis and monitoring on specific topics such as cash, aging accounts receivables (AR), inventory, and industrial variances
10. Coordination of activities between site and other reporting units / intercompany
11. Customarily and regularly exercises discretion and independent judgment that supports and directly impacts senior executive management reports and decisions.
12. Support other tasks to fulfill company needs related with the field of control to meet organization goals
