Flex, the diversified manufacturing partner, is seeking a Controller Assistant to support SpinCo in Zapopan as it prepares for a planned spin-off. The role reports to the Site controller and focuses on financial statements, investigations, budgets, and forecasts in line with corporate policies and regulatory requirements.

You will work with operations and commercial teams to understand business impact, prepare management reports, and support internal and external audits.

Formación

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Consistent experience in similar role involved with P&L and balance sheet activities.
• Background in manufacturing/cost accounting is preferred.
• Knowledge of forecasting, projections, and budget management.
• English advanced.
• Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic people and/or process management skills.

Responsabilidades

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial management reports.
• Participate in special projects and compile reports.
• Conduct financial investigations for local management based on needs.
• Prepare receivables reports as required.
• Collaborate with operations and commercial teams to reflect business impacts on site finances.
• Prepare weekly/month-end reports for the business team.
• Prepare financial reports for regulators and Sarbanes-Oxley compliance.
• Assist with managing the Accounting and costing departments.
• Implement HR strategies to recruit and retain a qualified workforce.

Job Summary

Flex intends to spin off its Cloud and Power Infrastructure segment into a new, independent publicly traded company, which we’re calling Spinco, until the name is unveiled. The spin is planned for Q1 2027. If the intended spin occurs, this role will support SpinCo, which will focus on critical digital infrastructure, delivering end-to-end power and thermal management solutions for AI data centres and other mission‑critical applications. To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, The Controller Assistant will be based in Technology Park offices, Zapopan. Reporting to the Site controller. This position will be in charge of financial statement preparation, financial investigations, budgets and forecasts in line with corporate policies and processes and legislative requirements in order to ensure financial reporting investigations and forecasts help business strategy and resolutions.

What a typical day looks like:

• Prepare monthly, quarterly and annual financial management reports.
• Participate in a wide variety of special projects and compile a variety of special reports.
• Conduct financial investigation for local management based on needs.
• Prepare receivables report as required.
• Work closely with operations and commercial teams to recognize the business and the impacts to the site financial position.
• Prepare weekly/month-end reports for business team.
• Prepare financial reports for regulators and Sarbanes Oxley compliance.
• Help internal and external financial audits.
• Assist with managing the Accounting and costing departments.
• Implement appropriate HR Strategies and actions to recruit and retain a qualified and motivated workforce.

The experience we’re looking to add to our team:

• Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting or related field.
• Consistent experience in similar role involved with P&L y balance sheet activities.
• Background in manufacturing/cost accounting is preferred.
• Knowledge of forecasting, projections, and budget management.
• English advanced.
• Demonstrates advanced functional and technical skills and basic people and/or process management skills.
