Job summary

Siemens Energy is seeking a Secondary Engineer Specialist in Mexico City (Hybrid: Remote/Office). You will design control schematics for gas-insulated substations and support from development through manufacturing and testing.

The role requires an Electrical Engineering degree, 2 years of experience with IEC/ANSI standards, and fluency in English. AutoCAD Electrical proficiency and independent problem solving are essential for success.

Qualifications

University degree in Electrical Engineering, Control & Automation, or Communications.
2 years of experience designing control schematics and familiarized with IEC/ANSI standards.
AutoCAD Electrical knowledge.
Fluent English and ability to work independently.

Responsibilities

Develop protection and control design for electrical substation projects.
Design control drawings for all stages of the project life.
Prepare specifications & BOM for GIS local control cabinets.
Develop panel layouts for GIS local control cabinets.
Develop wiring diagrams for GIS local control cabinets.
Support manufacturing work per contract specs, functionality and safety requirements.
Factory Acceptance Test support for GIS local control cabinets.
