IBM Consulting seeks an experienced SAP FICO Specialist in Mexico to configure and support FI/CO modules, lead end-to-end SAP initiatives, and collaborate with stakeholders to optimize financial processes. You will perform testing, ensure controls and audits, and train users while supporting month-end closings.

The role requires 5+ years in SAP FICO, S/4HANA familiarity, and strong analytical/problem-solving skills with excellent communication.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Accounting, Information Systems, or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in SAP FICO configuration and support.
• Strong knowledge of financial accounting principles and controlling processes.
• At least one full-cycle SAP implementation experience.
• Expertise in FI modules (GL, AP, AR, AA) and CO modules (Cost Center, Profitability Analysis, etc.).
• Strong problem-solving and analytical skills.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills.
• Knowledge of integration with other SAP modules (MM, SD, PP).
• Experience with SAP reporting tools (Fiori, SAP BI/BW).
• Understanding of financial compliance (SOX, IFRS, GAAP).
• Certification in SAP FICO or S/4HANA Finance.
• Experience with automation and process improvement initiatives.

Responsabilidades

• Configure and maintain SAP FICO modules, including General Ledger (GL), Accounts Payable (AP), Accounts Receivable (AR), Asset Accounting (AA), Cost Center Accounting (CCA), Profit Center Accounting (PCA), and Internal Orders.
• Analyze business requirements and translate them into SAP solutions.
• Support end-to-end SAP implementations, rollouts, and upgrades.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to optimize financial processes.
• Perform system testing, including unit testing, integration testing, and user acceptance testing (UAT).
• Troubleshoot and resolve SAP FICO issues in a timely manner.
• Prepare functional specifications for enhancements and collaborate with technical teams.
• Ensure compliance with financial standards, controls, and audit requirements.
• Provide user training and create documentation (SOPs, process flows).
• Support month-end and year-end closing activities.
