Responsibilities include loading/unloading, pre/post-trip inspections, logs, GPS navigation, and maintaining strict safety standards. Flexible hours including nights/weekends may be required. Competitive compensation and benefits offered.

Formación

• CDL Class A license with a clean driving record is required.
• Proven experience as a heavy-duty truck driver is essential.
• Knowledge of Mexican traffic laws and safety practices.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate heavy-duty trucks and specialized vehicles for the transport of various types of cargo, adhering strictly to delivery schedules.
• Ensure the secure loading, unloading, and transport of goods, prioritizing safety and preventing damage.
• Perform pre-trip and post-trip vehicle inspections to ensure mechanical soundness and compliance with safety standards.
• Maintain accurate logs of driving hours, mileage, and delivery details in accordance with company and regulatory requirements.
• Navigate routes efficiently, utilizing GPS and other navigation tools, while adapting to changing traffic and road conditions.
• Communicate effectively with dispatchers, clients, and other stakeholders regarding delivery status and any potential issues.
• Uphold company policies and all traffic laws and regulations during operation.
• Report any vehicle malfunctions or safety concerns immediately to the supervisor.

Requirements

• Valid commercial driver's license (CDL) Class A or equivalent, with a clean driving record.
• Proven experience as a heavy-duty truck driver, preferably in logistics or freight transportation.
• Proficiency in operating various types of heavy machinery and cargo handling equipment.
• Thorough knowledge of Mexican traffic laws, transportation regulations, and safety best practices.
• Ability to read and interpret delivery manifests, route maps, and technical manuals.
• Physical stamina to handle the demands of the job, including loading/unloading and extended periods of driving.
• Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to make sound decisions under pressure.
• Strong sense of responsibility and punctuality.
• Availability to work flexible hours, including occasional nights and weekends, as needed.
• Experience with electronic logging devices (ELDs) is a plus.
