Flex Ltd in Guadalajara is seeking a Buyer Direct to support MRP-driven procurement, secure supply, and optimize inventory levels. You will manage direct purchases, coordinate with vendors, and participate in sourcing programs to achieve cost savings and reliable delivery.

The role requires a BA/BS or equivalent, experience in metals/plastics procurement, and strong English skills. Expect MS Office usage and billing responsibilities within a global procurement team.

Qualifications

• BA/BS or equivalent work experience.
• Experience as Buyer Direct in metals & plastics industries.
• Experience dealing with customers and suppliers.
• Advanced English (spoken and written).
• CTB and procurement knowledge.
• Proficient in MS Office and billing.

Responsibilities

• Confers with vendors to obtain product or service information such as price, availability & lead time.
• Makes tactical buying decisions.
• Executes corporate sourcing programs and purchasing high dollar parts.
• Interfaces with suppliers and customers to secure both delivery and the best market price.
• Determines method of procurement such as direct purchase.
• Orders, reschedules and cancels material based on requisitions and MRP output.

Job Summary

To support our extraordinary teams who build great products and contribute to our growth, we’re looking to add a Buyer Direct located in Guadalajara, North Campus. Reporting to the Purchasing Manager Direct, this role involves responsible to secure supply based on MRP and company strategy for maintaining optimum inventory levels. PPV, expedite and other reasonable commercial efforts to execute MRP.
