Gsb Solutions is seeking a commissioning resource with 5–10+ years of experience in Windows-based systems and PLC/SCADA programming. Travel to client sites is required as part of project implementation.

Ideal candidates have expertise with RSLogix, Wonderware InTouch, Proficy/Cimplicity, SQL Server and industrial networking. This remote-friendly role supports multiple site deployments across Latin America.

Formación

• Experience with Windows servers (2019/10) and ongoing OS updates.
• 5–10+ years in commissioning, traveling to sites as needed.
• Strong PLC/SCADA and instrumentation background.

Commissioning resource

Commissioning Resources should have 5-10+ years' experience with: Windows based systems, including and not limited to Windows 2019 and Windows 10 OS (and prior platforms), as well as keeping up with new platforms when released by OEM (Microsoft). - willing to travel

• Knowledge of Virtual Machine Setup and configuration
• Experience in SQL Database, Historian, Pi and OPC databases
• Knowledge of Network equipment (servers, routers, firewalls, switches) and industrial control systems
• Site Survey and Review Network Architecture design and provide feedback and recommendations for design and implementation improvements.
• Configuring Turbine controller tags in OSM using Cimplicity /WST and establishing data flow from On-site monitoring (OSM) to Central historian server with NERC and CIP solutions.
• PLC Programming of ALLEN BRADLEY RSlogix5, RSlogix500, RSlogix5000, Pico Soft 6.
• Preparation of FDS (Functional Design Specification), FAT (Factory Acceptance Procedure) & SAT (Site Acceptance Procedure) documents & Commissioning of PLC/SCADA system.
• AB SCADA points preparation, Points memory mapping with PLC/RTU, Graphics Preparation as per P& ID and point linking.
• Proficy - Cimplicity (6.1, 8.2, 9 & 10) with Historian (5.5 & 7), Control ST (WST).
• Detailed Instrumentation Engineering (Instrument Selection, Datasheets Preparation, Cable schedule preparation, Termination Details preparation)

• AB Software RSlogix5, RSlogix500, RSlogix5000, Pico Soft 6,
• Integration of Factory Talk view Studio, RSView32, Wonder ware InTouch 7, Industrial gateway server 7.58 (IGS) & Matrikon OPC Explorer.
• Domain knowledge of Power Turbine Monitoring System, DCS Integration
• Power Plant Automation
• SQL Server, VB

• Experience working in an independent and highly matrixed environment, coordinating across multiple sites, functions, and time zones, with simultaneous projects. Takes initiative and quickly raises issues for help
• Strong bias for action; mechanically minded; high energy. Demonstrated high organizational skills, enjoys structured, transactional, process-oriented work
• Strong team player, excellent interpersonal skills; verbal, written communication skills, and presentation skills knowing when to use more technical detail and when to summarize; ability to work with fellow engineers as well as leaders at customer
• Solid analytical competencies, ability to troubleshoot quickly and on-the-fly, especially at customer locations

Education

Bachelor of Science/ Technology/ Engineering across disciplines like Electronics and Instrumentation engineering, Computer Science, Electrical, Controls/Instrumentation

ADVANCED CONVERSATIONAL ENGLISH AND SPANISH ESSENTIAL (Will be evaluated).
