Applaudo is seeking an Application Architect to design robust, scalable, cloud-native architectures for complex business applications. You translate requirements into detailed technical designs, define architectural patterns, and guide backend and frontend teams.

You will lead ADRs, present roadmaps to executives, mentor developers, and collaborate with DevOps and Data teams to ensure secure, efficient solutions on Microsoft Azure.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in CS/SE or equivalent experience
• 6+ years of software engineering with 3+ years in architecture/leadership
• Experience designing architectures for complex systems
• Backend: Node.js with Express or NestJS
• Hands-on Azure and cloud-native architectures
• Strong REST API ecosystem design
• Event-driven architecture and asynchronous processing
• Experience integrating multi-source-of-truth systems
• Understanding OAuth2/SSO for security
• Ability to create and defend Architecture Decision Records (ADRs)
• Advanced English for C-level communication and roadmaps
• Familiarity with AI-assisted development tools

Responsabilidades

• Translate business requirements into solid technical architectures and detailed designs.
• Define technologies, patterns, and principles for Backend and Frontend.
• Define and size the resource architecture for the Order Management System product.
• Collaborate with Product Owner and Business Architect on feasibility and roadmap alignment.
• Present and defend architecture proposals to leadership and specialized teams.
• Document system integrations with cross-functional platforms.
• Mentor the development team and establish best practices.
• Collaborate with DevOps to design infrastructure, pipelines, and operations.
• Coordinate with Data team on data architecture needs
