Redwood Logistics is seeking a hands-on infrastructure engineer to improve reliability, security, and cost effectiveness of Azure cloud services, hybrid identity, Windows Server, storage, monitoring, and networks.

Approximately 60% of the role covers Azure IaaS/PaaS services, ~35% supports enterprise networking, and ~5% supports AWS where needed. On-site support at the Chicago office is required, with potential travel to other locations.

Formación

• 3+ years cloud-native networking.
• Hands-on Windows Server administration in large enterprise.
• Cisco or Meraki experience required; Palo Alto a plus.
• Terraform IaC tooling experience.
• Proficiency with scripting (PowerShell; Python or Bash).
• Azure AD/Entra ID, Conditional Access, RBAC, PIM are desirable.

Responsabilidades

• Troubleshoot and resolve core network incidents across switching, routing, VLANs, trunking, wireless, firewalls, and hybrid connectivity.
• Design, implement, and maintain secure and scalable cloud infrastructure in Microsoft Azure and AWS.
• Configure and manage Microsoft Entra ID, CA policies, RBAC, and PIM.
• Deploy and monitor Microsoft Sentinel for cloud-native SIEM capabilities and automated threat response.
• Support lifecycle management of Windows Server environments and hybrid networking components.
• Lead identity governance initiatives and audit readiness.
• Develop infrastructure-as-code using Terraform for repeatability and compliance.
• Integrate AI-powered security/monitoring tools to detect threats and reduce response times.
• Participate in threat modeling, risk assessments, and audits.
• Drive automation for patching and configuration management.
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support deployments and business continuity.
