Ellucian is seeking a Cloud Engineer to modernize our SaaS offerings for higher education. You will shape automation, provisioning, and deployment Pipelines, collaborating with cross-functional teams to deliver scalable cloud services.

The role suits those who enjoy solving complex problems and building reliable systems. With 1–2 years in DevOps and experience in Python/Ruby/Bash, you will contribute to CI/CD using Docker, Kubernetes, and ECS, while embracing Agile practices and Linux

Formación

• 1-2 years’ DevOps experience with Ansible, Terraform, Jenkins, and Bitbucket.
• Translate user needs into viable technical solutions.
• Knowledge of Agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
• Experience with Python, Ruby, Bash.
• Automation mindset with scripting.
• Strong container knowledge: Docker, Kubernetes, ECS.
• Proficient with Git, GitFlow, SVN, TFS.
• Strong verbal and written communication.
• Linux background preferred.

Responsabilidades

• Support team leads in automated provisioning and configuration pipelines.
• Address complex provisioning, deployment, and app configuration issues.
• Develop SOPs and knowledge base articles for cross-functional knowledge sharing.
• Transform abstract ideas into working automation solutions.
• Collaborate across cross-functional teams to deliver services and products.
• Define and deconstruct existing solutions for automation and scaling.
• Translate requirements into task deliverables for automation.
• Track and report work using Jira and other company tools.
