A leading global technology firm is seeking a skilled data engineer with expertise in real-time data streaming and processing, particularly with tools like Apache Kafka and Azure Event Hubs. The ideal candidate will have advanced skills in Microsoft SQL Server and Power BI, experience architecting data pipelines, and familiarity with data security measures. Knowledge of ML/AI frameworks and experience in finance or e-commerce domains is also desired. This position is based in Mexico, Estado de México.

Conocimientos

Experience with real-time data streaming and processing using Apache Kafka and Azure Event Hubs

Hands-on experience with Microsoft Power BI

Experience architecting data pipelines with Azure Synapse Analytics and Azure Data Factory

Advanced skills in Microsoft SQL Server technologies

Expertise in real-time data processing architectures

Ability to develop secure data tools and automated workflows

Familiarity with ML/AI and GenAI frameworks

Experience in Insurance, Banking, Finance, and E-commerce domains

Preferred Skills and Qualifications

• Experience with real-time data streaming and processing using Apache Kafka and Azure Event Hubs for handling high-volume data flows.
• Hands-on experience with data analytics and reporting solutions, specifically using Microsoft Power BI.
• Experience architecting data pipelines with Azure Synapse Analytics, Azure Data Factory (ADF), and Microsoft Fabric for cloud-based data engineering.
• Advanced skills in Microsoft SQL Server technologies, including Master Data Services, SSIS, SSAS, and SSRS.
• Expertise real-time data processing architectures using Apache Kafka and Azure Event Hubs for streaming analytics and event-driven systems.
• Proven ability to develop secure data tools and automated workflows for analytics and data science teams, with a strong knowledge of data security and GDPR compliance for managing sensitive corporate information.
• Proactive in learning and applying the latest data engineering technologies and best practices.
• Working familiarity with ML/AI and GenAI frameworks (LangChain, LangGraph, OpenAI SDK, Microsoft Agent Framework) to prototype intelligent data-driven features and solutions.
• Experience in Insurance, Banking, Finance, and E-commerce domains.
