HSBC Global Service Center in Mexico City seeks a Cloud & AI DevOps Engineer to enhance automation, CI/CD maturity, and platform operations for cloud and AI workloads.

The role emphasizes building reliable pipelines, IaC-based provisioning, and cross-functional collaboration with engineering, data, and operations teams in an agile environment.

Formación

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, IT, or related field.
• Foundational understanding of DevOps lifecycle, CI/CD, and version control (Git).
• Basic scripting (Python, Bash, or PowerShell) and Linux fundamentals.
• Exposure to cloud services (AWS, Azure, or GCP) and container technologies (Docker, Kubernetes).

Responsabilidades

• Support design, optimization, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for cloud and AI workloads.
• Automate build, test, deployment, and environment provisioning using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices.
• Assist with release governance, configuration management, and deployment reliability across environments.
• Monitor platform and application health, support incident response, and contribute to root cause analysis.
• Collaborate with engineering, data, and operations teams to improve delivery speed, stability, and resilience.
• Maintain clear operational runbooks, technical procedures, and platform documentation.

Cloud & AI DevOps Engineer

Role purpose

The Cloud & AI DevOps Engineer contributes to reliable, secure, and scalable delivery of cloud and AI solutions by strengthening automation, CI/CD maturity, and platform operations under enterprise engineering standards.

Main activities

• Support design, optimization, and maintenance of CI/CD pipelines for cloud and AI workloads.
• Automate build, test, deployment, and environment provisioning using Infrastructure as Code and DevOps best practices.
