Job summary

Cadencia is seeking a Senior Accountant to join our collaborative team and manage client relationships while ensuring accurate financial reporting and a smooth client experience.

You will prepare accrual-basis statements, perform reconciliations, and apply financial analysis to support decisions across ecommerce, tech, real estate, and professional services. The ideal candidate has 5-7 years GAAP accounting, with QuickBooks Online or Xero experience, strong communication, and a BA in Accounting.

Qualifications

• 5-7 years of experience in GAAP-based accounting and financial reporting.
• 1 year of public accounting experience working with U.S. companies.
• Strong client communication skills and a passion for helping small businesses.
• Hands-on experience with QuickBooks Online and/or Xero.
• Industry exposure in e-commerce, product-based businesses, technology, real estate, or professional services.
• Consulting experience with multiple clients or projects at once.
• Familiarity with cloud-based accounting systems and app integrations.
• Bachelor's degree in Accounting or a related field (required).
• Bonus: Experience in public accounting or working in a remote, tech-forward environment.
