Overview

Experienced SAP Data Solution Manager to lead and oversee data strategy, governance, and solution design within a large-scale transformation project in the consumer goods industry. Act as the primary point of accountability for all SAP data‑related streams, ensuring alignment between business needs, global templates, best practices, and technical delivery. The role requires a senior professional with strong expertise in SAP data migration, master data management, and cross‑functional collaboration.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead the end‑to‑end SAP data workstream, including strategy definition, roadmap execution, governance, and quality assurance.
• Coordinate data preparation, cleansing, harmonization, and migration activities across SAP modules (e.g., MM, SD, FI, CO, PP).
• Define and validate data models, standards, and templates for the consumer goods business environment.
• Manage interactions with business stakeholders, functional teams and technical delivery partners to ensure alignment and timely execution.
• Oversee data migration cycles, cutover planning and go‑live readiness.
• Ensure compliance with data quality KPIs and lead issue resolution during testing and hyper‑care phases.
• Provide expert guidance on data architecture, tools, and best practices (SAP MDG, SAP BTP, ETL tools, etc.).
• Produce documentation, solution designs and decision records.
• Support project governance activities, status reporting and risk mitigation.

Requirements

• 10+ years of experience in SAP data management, data migration or data governance.
• Proven background leading SAP data streams in complex, multinational projects – ideally within the consumer goods / retail / FMCG industry.
• Strong understanding of SAP master data objects and interdependencies across functional modules.
• Hands‑on experience with SAP MDG, BTP, data migration tools (LSMW, BODS, Syniti, etc.) and data quality frameworks.
• Demonstrated ability to manage senior stakeholders and drive alignment across global teams.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to translate business needs into actionable technical solutions.
• Fluent Spanish and English required.
